The M60 made its debut meeting the requirements as a general-purpose machine gun, but various problems became apparent through actual combat. The E3 version was developed to solve these problems. The weight was reduced and the handle and bipod position were improved, but it was eventually replaced by the more reliable M240 machine gun. However, there were those who appreciated its performance, and Navy special forces such as SEALs continued to use this machine even after the M240 was introduced. Furthermore, its rugged design has become popular in the world of action movies, and it is used as a “big gun” operated by muscular actors, adding flair to masterpieces. This kit is a 1/12 scale model of M60E3. In addition to the gun itself, a belt link bullet made of soft resin is included.
