Resin (PS) Description Portable surface-to-air missile adopted by the US military in 1981, commonly known as “Stinger”. Equipped with an enemy or friend identification device to prevent accidental firing, it has the mobility and tracking ability to attack enemy aircraft from all directions, including from behind. It has such high accuracy that it was listed in the Guinness Book of Records (2011). During the Cold War, it was supplied to the Afghan Mujahideen and was feared as the “Hind Killer” by the opposing Soviet forces. This kit does not only reproduce the Stinger missile as a single launcher, but also three-dimensionally reproduces it as a complete set of operational equipment. Includes training equipment, night/bad weather thermal vision, and IFF device. In order to improve reproducibility, we also use materials other than PS resin, such as clear parts, vinyl tubes for wiring, rubber bands, and water transfer decals. Water transfer decals for marking are included. Box art is newly drawn by Mr. Kamotama! *Using adhesive for plastic models is recommended.
