Molding color: Black/Brown Description AKM was formulated in 1959 as a modernized version of the AK47 Kalashnikov automatic rifle made in the former Soviet Union. The folding stock version is AKMS. This is a model for paratroopers and tankers that allows it to be carried into tight spaces by making the bulky gun stock retractable. The suppressor PBS1, which was created around the same time, is still in use in recent years, and its combination can be said to be a suitable setting for special operations. The other AKMSU is a carbine version of the AKMS that is even shorter. It features a muzzle device with a gas chamber to allow the gas system to work even with short barrels, and an added foregrip for better control. The AKMSU was generally believed to be a small rifle for the Spetsnaz, but recent research has revealed that there is no proof that it was developed in the Soviet Union, and it is now known as a “mysterious gun.” This kit is a set of 2 of these. The opening and closing of the stock, suppressor and bayonet are selectable. The wood parts are reproduced with a different molding color.
